Heh, it's time for the 4PM rain storm... The beach was nice today. It's funny watching everybody run to their cars and then there's a 4 mile backup waiting for the bridge to exit the peninsula. I'm usually going the other way and can't help but giggle a bit.

Guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow/monday for some more run time. I'm leaving the m545 on to run with fully charged cells. Also bringing another set of much larger cells for comparison. 8k 20c 6s & 5k 25c 6s

So far it seems like a badass. I'm comparing it to a CC/Neu 2650 in the same hull using the same battery packs, just in series rather than parallel.

It has an excellent feel to it, very tight, very precision. Will have to put it through the paces to see if it holds up and performs!

Well... I'm having problems with my new GPS, keeps coming in "off". I remember making a modification to the battery clip on my other one to help reduce this problem... will have to give that a try.

I can say it was fast and cool. Motor temp was 130 after 4 minutes. I pulled it in early to check temps. ESC was 110 and the batteries were at 100. Nice.

The only problem is when I let off the throttle and did some slow navigation, I managed to back out the prop nut and lose a brand new m545 about 10 feet from the shore!

I didn't use any loc-tite, so serves me right I guess...

I'm thinking about jumping up to the x447. Anyone want to FE Calc that?

56mph on the m445 today. Wow. motor temp was only 130 after a couple minutes of run time.

Put the x447 on and we'll see how it goes!

It's a rocket, it launches hard enough to flip. Have to ease into the throttle..

mudl is running two similar motors on 7s in his Genesis.. I think they would work for you.

Yeah, good run, working on getting it dialed in for some predicable fun. It really is a torque monster and sensitive to launch.

Soft start or a Turnigy 120 or 180 thats 100% smoother will help that.

I want to run mine on 5S2P, any way someone could FE calc that for me?

I miss my calc, mainly the nice file I had with all the extra motors etc... Lost that...

It would be nice to get it again but, get someones updated file with lots of nice lipos & B/L motors in it. Is that possible?

                                LMK...
