Where did you purchase the motor mount? The ones on OSE will not accept the 4mm mounting screws.
Thanks in advance,
Ray

Indeed. They are from OSE and now accept 4mm screws thanks to my drill.

OK, GPS and Cooling Blocks are here and installed! Thanks to Boatman and Bustitup!
Decided to just go for it and put an m545 prop on it. 6s, 1400Kv = ~31K RPM so I'm pretty sure it's safe.
Anyone want to FE calc it?

Should be o.k. but, bring it in and check esc temp after 1 min max.
I detonated one of those esc's with that motor in my 29" Phantom Cat. Don't get it wet !!!
I decided to use 5S2P after that first run on 6S1P, I was using a funky Y547 cut down to 44mm but it had too much blade area. Motor came back cool.
50.5mph on GPS, and they were 4yr old Poly rc 25C 5000's.... M545 will be a bit better on speed and less amps somwhat.
Try an M445 first.

Ah, yeah. They don't come with any conformal coating. I sprayed this one up pretty good... so fingers crossed.
I have an m445, so sure, I could try it first.

Just playing with the throttle a bit. Watch the hull twist.

Heh, yeah, never thought of that. That's funny!

45mph... I guess it helps if you charge your lipos.
Nice and dry inside, very smooth runner, turns well... for the minute it was running.

That is a fast first run!!!
That is with the m445 right? Sounds really good for discharged batts!
