Good to hear you figured out the problem those temps seemed a bit high to me. I would like to suggest to you the X640. I run a mean machine with leopard 4074 2200kv with 4s2p. I got 44mph and my temps hit 112F on the motor shaft, 120F on the escs caps after a 6 min run checking the temps every 2-3 min. I will say this: keeping the boat at full speed for the straights and slowing ever so slightly for the turns keeps the temps down due to less voltage drops. These motors are more efficient at higher speeds keep that in mind, on and off throttle shot my temps to 150F
