Gotcha... Im running two 3S packs in series, then parallelling it out to my ESCs. I cant get any significant size of 6S batts to fit, ie, more than about a 2700mah because of height clearance. And it doesnt seam my 3S's are straining a bit to do it. I guess Mudl was right. I was in doubt, but he was right.. they handle it w/ no problems. They stay under 105F. Usually under 100.. heck todays passes they didnt break 90F

So your escs are wired in parallel and then connected to your 6s? After that four minute run temps were 100 batteries, 120 on the escs an motors were 122-127. One motor was slightly hotter than the other.

          That is correct sir

No wait... on the video run, which is the longest hardest run Ive put it through.. The Hottest motor was at 136 I think.. and the other was 127... or it was 137 and 126F.. the batts were 99F and 100F and the ESCs were 101 and I think 105F.. The temps are in my vid post....

Very very nice. Much better vid too. Wheres your cog? Its got a bit different ride attitude than my twinny. But it could be that your running in a little chop compared to what Ive run mine in so far. Also whats your stinger adjustment look like.
Im, I think at 8-1/8" from the back of the sponson and my stingers are as angled up as then can be which is really, if set on a table, the tails of the stingers are 1/32" down. But, the boat rides terific and when it does bounce, it bounces level (the bow doesnt go up) I could remove the stingers and file out a bit so they adjust up a bit more... probably open up a few tenths of a mph... but I dunno if I wasnt to change to ride attitude... it just perfect.

Cog is at 9". Struts are level. I think I need to run it a little more back somewhere in the 8.25 to 8.75". Haven't made a second run yet as the wheather is bad. I was choppy that day and had some pretty mean current.

I woulda guessed you cog was alot further back from 9. I guess it was a bit more chop than it seemed on the vid. I hope to dial mine in a bit more tomorrow afternoon.

Well ran it again today. Water was smooth. First run I put the cg back to 8.5". At this setting it ran really loose and had slight porpose. Moved it up to 8.75" and still a little porposing. Moved it back to 9" and added 1* angle on the stinger and I like it. Runs nice and comes off of cross wakes nice and even.

On the last run of the day I tried it with just a 1p setup (normally run 4s2p for a total of 10,000 mah). CG and setup same. The boat is much lighter. Threw it in the water and WOW. It's like I proped up in size. Only took a few passes though as I feel uncomfortable with a 1p setup. Maybe some 4s 4000 are in the future. That should shed almost 200g's.

Aloha! Sounds like you had a good day! What no vid???? Your slackin!

I stripped mine to bare hull today and am prepping for paint and a few other minor changes. I keep telling myself... "there will be no more 60s in my posts.. it will be 70 something." Positive thinking.. like the little engine that could.. I think I can....

How did you deal with the connection between the stuff tube exit and the start of the stinger at the transom? I don't know how to make that waterproof...?
Better yet, how much will you ask to order and build me one of these twin-drive Kitties with 3/16 hardware, rudder and mounts but without any electronics and without painting? Shipped to South Africa...

Its sealed by the epoxy that holds the stuffing tube in. Screws and stingers are sealed with marine silicone.

Sorry I can't help you there.
