It will be interesting to hear how that ARC motor holds up. They make some pretty strong claims for it.

How did the racing go this year with this new boat?Comment

Randy once i got the afterplane length figured out it ran really good. The sponsons were a little to short for a 37" in hull so now its a 35" hull. The longer hulls seem to be better at high speeds in traffic.
I have an old AC SP40 (37") that needs some work. I'm going to fix it up in the off season with a NEU/Castle 1717(6S1P) then compare both boats in the spring.~~~~~~~~`Mach 5 racing'~~~~~~~~~~~~

I pulled up the chair and microwaved the popcorn... nice thread... I too saw those ARC motors a couple of years back... been contemplating getting one since... never needed one so far and/or forgot about it.:::::::::::::::. It's NEVER fast enough! .:::::::::::::::Comment

I have only tried my ARC 36-65-1 2080Kv motor for 1.5 minutes and it has little to sweat about with a 45mm high pitch (wrong prop) on it.
I'm trying a m447 next in my Whip .21 I should have more to say by Sunday night after our last club run.
The windings are MUCHO thick wire compared to any inrunner I have seen so far and all packed into a very tight package.
I just might build a Whip 40 and put one of these 3675-1,s in it.
