Great first run with the `NEW' ARC 36-75-1 hit 50mph(GPS) on 6S 40C Turnigy cells, Huaya BX200 ESC. Had to take it easy windy day, 3-4" chop! Should work fine for our club racing class. Brought in after 6 laps motor temp only 110F w/cooling jacket. That little motor puts out some impressive power!

So is this hull about the same size and weight as a Whip40?
.NAMBA20...Caterpillar UL-1, P-Spec OM29, P-Mono DF33, P-Spec JAE, Aussie 33" Hydro-LSH, Sprintcat CC2028 on 8s, PT SS45 Q Hydro, PS295 UL-1 power, OSE Brothers Outlaw QMono 4-sale, Rio 51z CC2028 on 8s
I think the Whip 40 is 37" this one is 35". Long story short i needed to keep the overall length to 35"(min for SP40 IMPBA NAMBA) in order to keep the after plane below 60% per NAMBA sprort hydro rules. The sponsons are little longer on the Whip 40. My hull weighs close to 11 lbs RTR, i added some wedge(more AOA)to the sponson ride pads so the boat runs very light.
I'm using `NEW' ARC 36-75-1 EDF motor exclusively designed & sold by LIGHTFLIGHT Big Power/Small package. The motor design uses C-Clips at each bearing shaft end & heavy duty bearings, can handle up to 8S/150 amps. Currently playing with various pitch props in the 45mm range, when i find the right prop i'll get some vid.
