The Toysport Jolly is also narrower than alot of cats out there ... probably the same as the MHZ!

I fried two Castle creation 240 ESC's at plug in. So in an effort to try and not have it happen again I've added the extra capicators! It has reduced the size of spark when plugging in! I am using the larger cap set that Steven sells here - 5 cap size!

Concerning the motor size -- I can't answer that! When I bought my hull I asked here for the best suggestion on motors for it and the consensus was 8XL so that's what I went with!

I went with the CC240's thinking I would probably go with a more powerful motor down the road ... but didn't want to lose anything during my learning curve!

Frying esc's while plugging in can't be avoid by extra caps...

Just going by the advice given to me by folks on this site as well as on Rum Runner! I figure most of these guys have been at it way longer than me so if I have to spend 60 dollars in hopes of not frying 225.00 esc's again I guess I'll do it!

I know there's a lot of differing opinions on it but I'll use the advise and spend the money!

In a perfect world and a mature money tree I would probably buy Schulze or power jazz 63's but my money tree hasn't taken root yet!

Extra caps are needed if you can't have short wires in the boat ( esc/batt wires)
Extra caps also are for "insurance" if you put a lot of load on the esc. ( by driving half-throttle for example, coming out of the corner , and acceleration)

              Thanks for the explanation Gerwin!

Looks like I need to rethink my motor choices. Seems like 8XL is the motor of choice. My train of thought was this:
EKOS stock 380's 4s each - mid 40's and the 12L would be the next step up. If I go with high amp ESC's I can always upgrade motors.

              Thanks for everyones input.

I think I need me one, as a matter of fact I know I need me one!!!
I just talked to Loo (Low) Thursday about one and he said they have them in stock here in Florida but have not had permission to put them up on the site yet. You can bet that he will be sick of me by the time he finally ships it to me!!!

Sorry for the late reply.... I ordered it from MHZ Usa but I found it on the MHZ powerboat site.
It's not on the USA site yet but they do have the small and medium mystics in stock here but only in carbon kevlar. you have to call and order it.

Click on the box "suchen" and leave blank and the entire list of hulls and parts comes up with english wording aswell... Happy Hunting...
I can't wait for mine to show, if it aint here by Friday then then I guess I'll keep looking at the pictures over the weekend...

If you type in "1675" in the search(suchen) it will show the small hull and all the accessories for it.
Tuslow1, did you order any other items with it like drives? Do you know what power set up your going to use?
Sorry I haven't had a chance to post pictures of the decals, still in a food coma from Thanksgiving. I'll try and do it today.

I wanted to order all of the upgrades but Loo told me it would be about a 10 to 15 day wait for the next shipment. BTW, I ordered the medium hull and instead of getting the extras next week I think I'm going to order the small one with all of the goodies.... I simply love that hull!!!
I would like to get a large one aswell, but I think the pricetag on that one will land me in divorce court quicker than sh*t runs through a goose!!!

I think I'm going to run twin 1521/1D's, 2x 4s and x442's on the med hull and 1515/1D's, 2x 3s and x438's on the small hull

Decals are really well made. I just opened the bag they came in until now. I love the G3 logo. You do have to paing the silver and black sections of the boat first however.
