No; never stuffs, runs on rails, no trim tabs either. I had it flipped twice, caught a couple wakes sideways. ( Did this once, while testing the boat at the local water skiing club) I am happy with the setup.

Umm no it seems to support the motor nice, it WAS pretty solid in my mono, to bad the hull was not as solid as the mount.... high speed + shore=

          Paul,

The center of the motor (1515) from the transom is 13" CoG is roughly around the 9-10" mark from the transom. Are you building a DF Storm soon?

Nice choice on the power system.
I was considering the Neu 1521/1.5D with the same ESC, prop, and pack configuration, but I think the feigo 580l 1892kv will do nicely for a lot less $$.

Let us know how that prop works out for ya! I have heard good and bad on the 3 bladed props, am curious to try one out. But I think a Prather S220/2 is on top of the list for more speed. Just picked up a good used Garmin 201 forerunner locally. So I am anxious to see what speeds I am averaging with my setup. I have a pair of trim tabs that I picked up, but don't see a need for them. If anyone needs a pair let me know.
