No, She suffered a MASSIVE crash into a mahogany runabout. Steve Elias took her back in, repaired her for me and sent her back to me for FREE. I couldn't ask for better service.

Cool! Getting a little brave with her turning right in front of that dock...scarry! How much faster do you think it is over ther stock Renegade?

        Thanks for the vid!

Being new boats. What kind of adjustment are made to the rudder to correct the hop in the corners.

            Hey George!

First of all...Make one adjustment at a time! Start by raising the strut 1/16" to 1/8" Max. This should settle the transom down in the water and reduce hop.

Also, is the rudder set straight up and down to the tansom (the flat end of the boat that the strut and rudder are mounted to) when looking at it from a side view? It should be...

Hope that will help things out...

Hey kent thanks for the reply.

To be honest I don't have one of these, I actually have a mono (SV27). I was just trying to search and find out how to get rid of the hopping in the turns and this thread was the only one that came up. I searched many different threads and board to get a baseline of what adjustment to make to correct certain handling characteristics. I found some but still a little confused. I just propped down (K42)and it runs better but was trying to find out how I could get the bigger prop (M445) to run like the other.

Sorry Not meaning to HiJack Rumdog's thread. BTW That is one sick boat you got there Rum..

No problem George. There is PLENTY of info on SV27's here! There are many good guys on here that could help you out alot more than I can with the SV's...

Go to: OffshoreElectrics FE Boating Forums (Home Page) then scroll down to "AquaCraft RTR Questions & Answers Board"...TONS of good info there...

                  Very nice!

I love threads like this. It is nice to see a boat that is fun and fast without it requireing $100 plus of batteries.

I just recently got my 16.5" delta force mini hydro running. This thing runs on 2s with a 30mm prop for about 5 minutes just skimming along. I am going to start a thread on it once I get some better data and vid so I can share it with others. These are fun boats that you can set up and not break the bank. Boat with motor used was $110 del, $10 for 25 amp esc, $9 for battery, $18 used radio and I am having a blast for $147.

when you get the chance, I would like to ask you to post some detailed info on your build so others can see what is working. Things like length of the hull, more info on the motor, batteries used and what the average/peak draw is or run time. I really want a 32" mystic cat with twins, but two sets of batteries for it would cost more than my little hydro.

Looks great sir, nice little boat.

                  Brian
