I got to the waxing the molds today. I will be shooting the PVA on the molds tonight and tomorrow I will be spraying the skin on. I might just try some Gellcoat then the regular epoxy lay up for a test. On my own boat. Wahoo! Progress!

I have had a lot of other work to do and I want to get back to this week. The molds are ready to spray on gellcoat and try a epoxy marriage. I have to lay up a Zephyer 27 today and finish painting a Lift Master then I can go to my supply house and get some gellcoat.

The first Fiberglass with gellcoat will be layed up today. It will be the epoxy polyester gellcoat marriage. I sprayed on the gellcoat yesterday, we will see how this works.

I layed up the hull in FG/epoxy yesterday with the Gellcoat skin six more days to wait for the cure then I get to see the results. (7day cure time)
I also did a little work on the Styrene hull. I put CF in the bottom and FG in the deck.
I got a little more work done on the Single powered SC33 FG. I installed the dual Ball bering Strut and I am about it install the motor mount rails. I like to use Slow cure Epoxy.

One of the cool things with the new motor mount I build is that if (Like I did) you start the build with a 1527 in mind and then decide that you want to run a 1521 you can just turn around the rear mount and presto it works on a shorter motor.
