I run the 33" Promise hull as well as the 29" and the 47"gas version, all fast hulls.

The 33" uses the same size rudder and strut as the 29".

    2 6S Turnigy 25C 3000 packs wired in series.

Very fast..no trimtabs or turn fins.

The actual blade part is 3.1/2" and it protrudes exactly 2" measured from the bottom of the strut into the water...

            The 47 gas version is running a 6hp+ motor with a 7015/3 prop,maybe spinning about 18-19000rpm.
Lots and lots of torque roll with this kinda power in the 47 hull.
I have since fitted trim tabs which helped but did slow the hull a touch.
These hulls are fast hulls possibly not needing tons of hp to go quick.
My son has the 45" Head of River version and simply needs more power for the same speed. No idea why.
The 47 was tricky to setup, all it wanted to do was fly even with the cofg well forward,i actually had to fit a 1 1/2 pint bottle of water to keep it down in the nose.
Trim tabs did sort it though in the end.
They turn well IF set up right.
A big neu would be good, spinning higher revs with a smaller prop wouldnt have the same torque roll as my larger 7015/3 props.
I like the fabulous looks of the Promise hulls, real head turners..

Abit of video of the 47" in rough water with 35mph winds blowing side on.
This was before trim tabs were fitted..as you can see i only could open it up a bit..
            Great fun to drive..LOL..
