    33" Mono Build

    Hey all boaters..
I am wanting to know if a 4" rudder would work ok on a 33" mono?
also would a 8XL be ok to use on this boat?

Sorry if this question has been asked before..
I know it would work on a 29" mono, but if my SV rudder and strut would work ok on the 33" I will get that.. ( little more stable )

Thanks for any and all input!

I'm using 5200 30c packs.. possibly going to order more packs this week
      A 8XL runs great in a 29"
      Why not a 33"?
      Thanks

        I would run a 9XL in a 29" Delta Force hull on 4S power. An 8XL in a Delta Force 33"
        Also what ESC?

The motor of choice for that hull is a Neu 1521 1.5D on 4S. Its a sweet, fast and cool setup.

            I have a 200A esc.
            Maybe a 12XL on 6s?
            Or a 580 on 6s?
Also what about my SV hardware, would that work on this hull?
            Thanks

What's the difference between a Head of the River mono

              and this? anything?

                Mono Hulls

                Totally diff hulls.

                I run both hulls - 33inch set up with Neu 1521 1Y on 6s and 32inch set up with 1515 1Y 4s.

Both are nice hulls but I would sway to the 32inch mono.

I have a 33 delta and have run two different setups. The first was a 7xl. It actually was able to run with the other boats in my small group that ran both the 1521 and 1515 nue motors. I later switched to a 1515 1y and it runs great. I run the M545 or X646/3 props with speeds in the mid 50s in race trim and temps are ok.

Why do you like the 32 more?

                      Wow, a 7XL. was this on 4s?
                      I'm thinking of an 8XL on 4s or a 11-12XL on 6s..

So far for me I like the looks of the 33" better, but if for some solid reason the 32" is better I will go with that hull

and thank's for the fast and valuable input!

Our lake is normally rough and put together with race water I find the 32 mono handles these conditions better.

Don't get me wrong there is not much between them.

sounds like they are both very close..

                              Hi ,

The http://cgi.ebay.com/33-deep-V-nitro-...d=p3911.c0.m14 is almost the same as my MHZ Tsunami http://www.mhz-powerboats.com/shop/artikel3663.htm , i run it with a KB45xl8 on 6s with a 42mm prop but a feigao 540XL10 on 6s is also a option .
Its a big hull and needs a motor with torque max 1600rpv and not high revs like a xl7, xl8 or xl9.

                              Hardware setup .

                              grtz

                              Michiel.
