Not sure if anyone seen the thread with the emails from the guy bagging Steven and OSE service. OMG where does this guy usually buy his parts? I have dealt with quite a few RC companies that sell boats, planes and cars and Steven's service is second to none IMO. I don't always buy from OSE but when I do I know I can rely on the service and the quality of the parts. I do not think I have to defend Steven on that thread as his reputation amongst the worldwide FE boating community will do that. I thought the emails show us just a little of the tripe Steven and other vendors have to live with.
Mr Vaccaro you are #1 when it comes to service, and the quality of your parts is often the reason why I don't have to buy more parts from you as my old OSE parts keep getting bolted and glued on to new hulls.

I have not brought from steve in awhile but i used to order thursday night and it would be at my door monday or tuesday at the latest.
Always packed very well and nothing missing. No other place that i have brought from has been as good.

I went to the local brothel last week and asked what time Happy Hour was and the lady at the desk told me the best they could do was a pensioner discount. I am happy with that because what I could do all night now takes me all night to do.

New Arneson drives for my 135 cat
Delivery was a bit slow, but worth the wait !
Double the price, but 10 times the quality & adjustment of the usual Chinese stuff

Stub shafts held in stinger by collar, flex glued in .. 8mm shaft and bearings drops to either 3/16 or 1/4 threaded end stubs ( I now have both sizes )

Can install from 188 to ~120 mm length... ( you need to cut flex to suit so it's not a dockside modification ! )
pedestal has rotary dial that allows up/down adjust without need of tools.. very handy

The ones I used on 56" Genesis are ~80US.. these almost double.
No machined cast alloy here..these are all billet !!

Only complaint ?
These are anodized black.. however the manual picturess highly polished super shiny sparkly pretty ones. ...

Im still laughing , on the inside ! ... because inside a box today from China, was a little bag of ( in chinese) party music ( or so ggogle translate tells me. )
On outside were warnings like no flame, keep dry., no ice ! etc .
On inside 2 air/vac sealed bits of boiled lolly looking things.
Hmm ?? wtf ?
I unwrapped one.
It has(had) a wick. I like things with wicks . definite ignition point.
So the match did the trick and I stood back.
But not far enough.
Holy number twos, that was loud.
I wonder what ice does ? hahaha
Nothing, as it happens.
So I light that one as well to see what if.
But the bloody thing didnt work, for 90 minutes.
I guess it just burned inside drying itself off before the bang.

I think I may get new neighbours.. I saw a scared Indian couple ... walking around looking for the explosion source.

Had a.mate that was a piro tech. One day he gives me these 2 inch high pyramid looking thingys with a wick.
Tells me they spit a few different coloured flames. So one night a few weeks later i sit one out the front of the house and light it up.
Turns out there was no pretty colours but a bang big enough for 3 cop cars to patrol the street for the next couple hours :-)
