For speed runs i would think further back would give more nose to tail stability, may chine walk a little more.
for turning i would extend front of rudder edge even with front of prop.
Thats is if i remember correctly,been awhile

Thanks for that Ozzie. I am getting chine walk but I have found with these DF clones that if you squeeze the throttle on slowly they seem to behave in a straight line. Slam the throttle home and they are all over the show. I might slip a set of small trim tabs on her ass but wont be sure if I need them until I go to 4s. Eventually a 1515 0.5Y and a smaller prop will find their home on this hull

Very nice hull. It should be good on the corners with all that width. FC has some very nice engine mounts too. This should be an interesting build. Are you going for twins? The Doctor selected some nice Castle motors when he built my Maritimo. Fast and a long run-time. Nothing like the sound of screaming twins.

looking at the tenshock motors 36x60mm 170-1900kv.
if the larger ones are as good as the smaller ones i played with a few years back they should be on near par with a neu

Ahh the Anzac Day match. Next week Tasmania gets the electricity connected so we will be able to see things like that too. June gets tired of peddling the generator so I can charge my lipos and be on the internet. Keeps her fit though.
