Did an epic 4X4 trip to Cape Yorke ( tiptop NthEast corner of Au ).
Bloody marvelous 6 week return journey from SouthOz. 6 cars, 12pax.
The rivers and creeks we crossed during 'the dry' were deep enough to wash the windows ... .. now they're talking 15+M deep !!
HOLY FUnparK !
Here's hoping they keep their heads above the surface

Hope you all had a good Christmas/New Year period. Can't say that this way. I have not been able to get near my boats because of doing family things with June and our daughter. Bloody visiting relatives, cutting grass on our house block in the country, taking the girl for driving lessons and pretending to be a good father and husband. Don't those two women know I have FE boats that give me great pleasure to run. This crap better not go on too much longer or I am out of here and heading to Broke Back Hill. My bloody days on this earth are numbered and I need to reach two goals before I go prop shaft (well it does love a screw) upSeveral boats in various stages of destructionComment

Have been to the Cape several times Wayne, the rivers they are talking about you would of crossed via a bridge !! The ones you are talking about are that far north know one gives a rats and expect them to become impassable in the Wet season. Bloody good fun on a KTM 525 mateComment

Look here!!! When you find a good whore house, with no snakes and crocodiles and rising water, you stay for a while. All joking apart that is a disaster for many families in Australia, my heart goes out to them.

Well Doug it is like this, single dad, works full time. Unknown person coming to stay, will not give dates so I can not get leave. NO WAY unknown is staying in my house with my daughter when I have to go to work. So no advance dates better go some where else.
This may sound harsh but have sent you PM's about this with no reply, put yourself in my shoes.Comment
