i also have tried pumping water threw the system while stopped, this drops temps really fast as well.
Thanks ozzie. Some food for thought there. I noticed with the telemetry just how quick the temp rises once the boat is sitting after a run. The temp drops quickly once you put it back in the water and start it moving. I like the pump idea while it is just sitting. That would cool it much quicker.
I hope this works out as I can get 3 of these controllers for the price of one Hydra. Douggies 200 amp is a bit more expensive but still quite a saving.

No I have not tried one of those. If these Turnigy 180's do what they say and withstand a 360 amp burst for a few seconds things will be OK.I need to buy one of the Hyperion Data Loggers. They measure over 250 amps. The Eagle Tree stops at about 180 amps and my boats draw more than that. I would like to know how far past 180 I am going.
Ozzie is there a kit to make a K&B OB electric?

cant see why the motor to leg adapter from the bullet drive wouldnt work as its designed to go between the electric motor and bolt to a standard nitro leg ?
or the one from the rek should do as well, just not sure on the flex coupler is the K&B square ended at the motor end ?

thats moving pretty dam fast, had me stuffed for a minute how it was staying there and not blowing over, then i realised its not running a OB, it looks like a inrunner setup, may have a Z drive.
think the K&B maybe still to big for your tunnel,so either the REK which is fill 3.5 size but light composite or take a chance with the ep1,maybe a higher kv 540s on 3s

Yup the K&B might make a good anchor for that little hull. I have put a "wanted to buy REK" thread on here but no answers yet.
Off to work for 4 hours and visiting my son in Devonport tomorrow. Back to work on Monday so not much model fun this break.
