Ozzie the MRP BUD LIGHT is here
Ozzie the MRP BUD LIGHT is here. Three pictures for now and then I must get some sleep.
As you can see it is in good condition. A little clean up and it will look almost new.
Length = 22.5 inches
Width = 9.25 inches
The length might govern what outboard I use. I might have to fix the old one up and put a small Neu motor on that if we can make it handle the power. Only looking for 40 mph max out of this.Several boats in various stages of destructionComment

. I always wanted one of these when they were new but could never afford one. I had several MRP boats. I would love to get my hands on a MRP Mr Pringles. I had one and like a fool sold it. I had another big cat that I think was an MRP Skater. It had twin outboards on it. Those were the days when 28 mph out of the box was fassssst. Ahh memories of an old man. I love boats

The MRP Mr Pringles
I want one of these bad. Anyone that gets me one of these gets to have my sister visit for a month.Several boats in various stages of destructionComment

Paddy, I think 30 mph would be more realistic...Neu motors will give you no advantge in an outboard that may suit that hull ....scale look???

I had the MRP Miss T-Plus twinwing stz.., nice looking good sized boat, didn't handle all that well but it was ok. EDIT - DOH thinking now it could have been DPI branded
I think I heard somewhere that the way to sort them out was to plug the rear vent with lexan from the bottom to give it lift, Probably go much like the Mr Pringles then.. IT had pretty out there sponsons with air release and big recovery pads..
Very mint looking tunnel though..Last edited by crabstick; 07-12-2010, 12:41 AM.Comment
