That picture was taken at Junes home in NE China so naturally the price of the iron was cheap.
As for the thing that looks like a vibrator it is actually a Chinese Hedge Trimmer if you know what I mean. June has a delightful Brazilian. She often cuts my grass too.


BTW... the repaired glider was flown again this morning and no difference was noticed in it's flight characteristics.
The little tunnel had some more tests and I managed to get it to 43 mph before the somersault so I am on the right track.

As usual our cousins on the other side of the pond are letting the NZ part of ANZAC down. Maybe they are all playing in Simons garden with those rock rooting r/c trucks. You would be forgiven if you thought they must have sold their boats as they make no mention of them on here.
That Scotsman is another one that bores us to death with his boat pics and stories about his latest boating escapades.... NOT. When are you going to put a boat in the water Douggie and get some video and pictures of it actually doing something other than collecting dust on a shelf in your lounge room.

I left myself open to that didn't I !!!
That was the first crash in about 100 flights Chuck. It usually is so easy to fly that I can sit the transmitter in the ground while I scratch my a$$ and that is the way it was flying today.

Dare I post a rc boat query on this rc boat forum ?
Took my little rig out for a swim yesty.
Will try to post a vid 'ron, when I dry out this little dilemma.

I wipe the cowl and deck with denatured alcoholl ( metho) and when dry apply 3M tape.
2 long lengths first, then front and back.
Prob.. when tub got air today and landed bottomside up.. it rolled the front piece of tape.. gurgle gurgle gurgle.... long walk .. fishing experience is awsome, first cast !

ESC works well fully submerged... rolled tub rightside up, drove back to launch area. removed cowl, drained a tub's worth of water .. all fine.
Radio box doesnt take a drop.
1/6 scale pilot has learned to breathe underwater
Daughter suggests he get scubagear ( just rude ! .. but been surfing eBay looking... )

I use to tape front/back then sides.. but had a side removed in same scenario so changed procedure.

Any tips from you much wiser ( older ) tape fanatics ?

1. 3M supply here is abundant, will persevere
2. yes, tape may have been loose on edge, Hmm
3. umm, end of straight exposed to wind..enthusiasm makes better drivers of us all, mate .. wind wasnt noted from 150M.. oops.
