Hi all, Im another Ozzie joining this forum. Im reading up and looking into fe boats so I can get myself one for xmas. From what I've found I don't mind the look of the Spartan as this will be my first boat and my first brushless/lipo system and I think with my lack of knowledge, the warranty may come in very handy. I will probably order from the states and pay the expensive shipping because from what I've found so far, the Australian hobby shops seem to be making far too much proffit. Does anyone know what Ozzie hobby shops are reasonably priced and have good websites that would be worth my time looking at?
bro welcome to OSE
forget the pile from traxxas and get this!
How are these hulls vs a DF hull of the same size?
One word FASTER, with the same power and prop mine is a couple of Mph faster AND the heat/amp draw is lower.
YES they do need the correct set up and you only have to be out the width of Paddy's Pubic Hair for it to be a handful, as for the seadunker tag I have seen plenty of DF's go under !!
So if you are patient/ good at setting up a boat and dont mind the tape up issue's ( takes a bit longer but only an extra minute) then these are a great boat. Compare a steak knife to a scalpel both sharp but..................................

That's what the guy was saying to me about Seadunker
I bought a PT SS45 from him and he had a .45 size and .65 size Seaducer hulls to sell also, but after he told me the same thing your describing I'm think I'll stick with the DF style hulls.. I'm still learning setups on FE boats
but I've seen Seaducers run and they are sick
.NAMBA20...Caterpillar UL-1, P-Spec OM29, P-Mono DF33, P-Spec JAE, Aussie 33" Hydro-LSH, Sprintcat CC2028 on 8s, PT SS45 Q Hydro, PS295 UL-1 power, OSE Brothers Outlaw QMono 4-sale, Rio 51z CC2028 on 8s

Nuthn runs right if setup wrong.
DF and Ditto the Seaducer.
80% the fun is setting up.. gets boring doing circuits at speed. !
Build em, bend em, mend em, race em ... move on to another ....
[ note re 80% fun is setup : unless you do circuits at 80+mph ! )
In recent years Au has been overwhelmed by the insidious US television sitcoms... prior to that sad day we had a stream of UK stuff that still brings a smirk to my face even after decades of absence from the tube.
Sure, I enjoy the steady diet of sex, violence and rampant plagiarisms prevalent in US shows.. but nuthn beats quality....
John, Rowan, Lenny, Dawn .. I raise my glass to you all.
Amen to that brother Wayne !!! Good to see the good reverends semen is working on you. USA TV = Satan at his best, I hear the Christian Crusade and Pedophile Council are trying hard to get it ALL banned !! Now phone me about that prop please, soon as I have to go and masturbate and Whip myself after watching Gilligan's Island
