Ive got a 476ci bbc for sale that makes around 600 hp that would do some good in that big impala..

Yeah the 588 has an electric CSR pump on it.
Ive got to change the inlet on it before i can use it.

That is cool. Long way to Cal. we had thought about putting in the one I have for my 71 but way too much changes for his state of learining. My 71 is a original SS 402.
This is the only picture I could find. we were putting air bags in it.

Drool...I used to have a 75 T/A. 400 bored 30 over with shaved heads. 11 to 1 compression. bw T-10 tranny and a lot of goodies. Street car. Ran high 11's in the 1/4 mi. Looking at yours makes me miss that car. But not all the broken drivetrain components.

I like the old cars with full frames. Minimal body twist. I had that problem even with sub frame connectors.

That was a 14 year old set up..
Got my money out of it id say..

had a 4.30 in it, had Moser engineering put a 4.88 in it.

60ft times went from 1.40's to 1.33's and 1.34's.
Also went from 6.37 18th miles to 6.22-6.21 1/8 miles.
