All 5 are from May 30-31st of this year from the Nostalgia Nationals at Muncie Dragway near Albany Indiana.

I run 8th mile but i can run 1/4 mile.


Wanting to know my times?
Best time so far is a 6.21 in the 8th which is a 9.62 in the 1/4.
Ive got a 588 that will bump me down low 5.90's.

Only tear it down when i have a problem.
And well... I very rarely ever have a problem with my motors.
I run as often as possible, about every weekend.

Nice old AMC Grimm.... Looks like a old picture, you look older now:-)
I traded my 1969 Mustang for the 1974 Bronco in the back ground. I still have a 1970 sprorts roof and a 1971 SS Elcamino big block.

Got any pics of the engine? What are the specs?

Right now its got a 555 in it.

Dart big M block, brodix xtra 2 heads, shaft rockers, 15:1 compression.
Hooker headers, 1050 dominator.

Dont know a whole lot about this motor.
I bought it used at the end of last years racing season.
I was told it makes 943hp, im not so sure it makes even 850.

Wow! That's alot for a normally aspirated motor. Things sure have changed since I used to work on cars (80's).
That new engine looks sweeeet!

Its not a street car.
Hasnt been street legal for several years now.

Only thing it needs to be street legal though is all of the lights wired back up, exhaust from the headers back put back on, set of street tires and a set of liscense plates.

It wont suddenly become street legal anytime soon though.
I run 110 octane fuel that is a little over $7 a gallon.

I must say beauitful drag Car, it is a 69? Love Chevells I have not driven my 71 elcamino sence 1988, Trying to get back to it But my son had a dream of beeing ready for hot August nights with a 1965 Impala. sorta a rat rod untill we paint it. I am putting a 420HP 350 in it tomorrow. It will be a street car.
