Definitely great music from a time when people actually sat down to listen or got up to dance. Must have been the drugs...Government Moto:

OK, it's time for me disclose, at great risk to all within earshhot ( this thread IS called The Death of Music, right?) the one and only song I ever wrote that actually made it to CD. Seems that during the O.J trial, the sicka$$ "Dream Team" , Cochran & Shapiro were dreaming up all kinds of "alternative culprits" to get O.J. off. Colombian Drug Lords, Aliens from outer space and such. I cracked up so much at these idiotic theories that I came up with one of my own which made just as much sense. I wrote "The Ballad of O.J. - Elvis Made Me Do It " and put it away for about a year until one day I was going for a putt with my good buddy Johnny Ransom (his real name) who was the lead singer in a hardcore punk band called the Smut Peddlers. I gave him the song, the Smut Peddlers recorded (and performed) it and to this day it remains in their catalogue. WARNING - It's hardcore PUNK, but check it out :

I realize the new modern keyboards are smaller, and are capable of doing all sorts of *things*, and lord knows they are so much easier to transport from gig to gig, BUT, IMHO there's nothin like the sound of a big ole Hammond, and leslie.
