    Car crashes into my store.

While away on my weekend vacation, we received a call from the police that a van crashed into the store. My first reaction was that someone tried to break in. But it was just a drunk driver. We are staying about 2 hours from the store so it was an interesting ride back at 12AM in the morning!!! Than a LONG ride back to be with my family. My son Stevie and I finally got to take a snooze at 5am this morning.

So, is that breaking and not entering? Or not braking and entering? Or entering and not braking?

    what is "the gold mine"?

Man that really bites Steven. There was lady here where I live that ran into some glass windows on an auto parts store. Guess what she was going after.......brakes. She also drove school bus at the time. Scarey.

          man that sucks Steve.

where I live this seems to happen often accept that it is almost always some old person getting the brake and gas confused.

Looks like the driver may get free room and board for the week end

Sorry to hear about that Steve....Just proves the point that drinking and driving don't mix.

Anybody that does that deserves life in jail before they are given another chance to slaughter a family in a mini van (or similar)

Hey Steve why not have a boat shop front too ?? Then you can have rough neck beggars who spend all there cash on the addiction of boats and cashed up jewelry snobs eyeballing each other !! Funny thing is I think in the current economic situation it would be the boating addiction that is in front !! I mean who would spend cash on trinkets when there are boats to build ?????

                            Read with dumb voice:
"Huuuuuu, let me see if this van can make a u-turn in a one way street... I am going to give it a little gas because I think it'll work.... 'crash', duuuh... I think it didn't work... I knew I should have stepped harder on the throttle!"

THere are some scary drivers out there... jeeesh
Steven, hope the insurance people work quick with you...

Thanks for all the concern. Everything is fine. And we have a second front entrance. So it shouldn't be much of a problem. I will get to test out how good my insurance is this week.

I do(sort of). To the left of that window thats damaged, I keep all the batteries, chargers, remote systems, hulls and rtr's. Basically all the stuff larger than a servo is kept at the store.
