This system is so broken, there's enough blame to go around for everyone.

What would you do to fix it?

You DO oppose everything Obama does! You are so obvious it is laughable. I am not making anything up. You thought everything Bush did was just dandy and yet he lied to you on a regular basis. You are so entrenched into the hatred and misinformation from the Right, the GOP that you are totally blinded. You are like arguing with a rock! Nuf sed.

The economy here in Michigan sure is in a little upswing right now. Things are starting to look better. Does anyone realize what would have happened without the big 3 bailouts? I know that people hated the idea of bailing them out, but in the long run. it will save a lot of money and families. When it comes to the idea of healthcare reform, i'm not so sure why people are so damned pissed. Especially when you will have the option to keep your current plan, how are you effected negatively? What do the republicans seem to think? What do they tjink Obama is trying to do? Does he have some kind of sick plan for America's demise? Do they really think that he came up with this plan all on his own? Do you not believe that in Obama's mind he wants to do the right thing? I think he is one damned smart man and I and most of America, while we are entitled to our opinions are in no way in any position to question his strategies. Especially those informed by the mass media.

The bailouts of the auto companies was the biggest mistake this country made. If Toyota can make a ton of profit and pay their employees less and still have great benefit package for their employees. (Toyota's make in this country). Both Chrysler and GM should have been let got bankrupt and file chapter 11.

This would have made all union contracts invalid and made suppliers be placed on hold. We then could have come in renegotiated the contracts, and retooled the companies to actually produce viable products. It would have saved jobs in the long run and given the companies a solid foot to stand on.

You are seeing a small upturn in the economy and trust me it will be short lived. You will see additional easing over the next few months just before rampant inflation starts to set in.

You want to revamp health care? then allow a 100% IRS deduction up to 2400 per year family for insurance premiums. The deduction would be before taxes on your weekly paycheck. That would mean that 95% of those who can not now afford health care because they fall into the middle class or are self employed.

What about pre-existing conditions? What about denial of coverage? What about cancelling coverage? What about misdiagnosis that puts you in a pre-existing category? What about fraud? What about insurers making late payments to healthcare providers?
Heck! What about all the problems our current system has?

Are you a fortune teller? I'm glad that you know what will happen in the future.Rampant inflation of what, all goods and services? I myself drive a Toyota. The fact that they are still far superior in quality to American cars is what helps Japanese owned brands. I guess only time will tell on the bailout and healthcare reform though. I'm just curious if all the repubs and/or righties would admit they've been wrong if these plans do pan out. I doubt it.

We all have a right to our opinions. All we can do is provide information that will help them in coming to their own conclusions. Who knows who's right? But we can't give up trying to better things. That's what makes us americans. That and the fact that we like to argue about everything.
