2nd Genaration Skunkworks Kitty

Well here is my second generation Skunkworks cat. This is my first scratch build. Its powered by twin 8xl's. Here's a fast foward through the various stages of my build.

Here she is at virgin state. Then with a carbon floor

Here are the mounts for the electronics. Hardware converted to 3/16" drive.

Sanded down and ready for paint. Paint is House of Kolor Cobalt candy blue with a custom pearl metallic base.

Power will be twin Feigao 8xl's with CC Hydra 120's. Props are X442 and custom X444 (still working on those) Batteries are Turnigy 5000 40c 4s2p. I'm still waiting for one 120 from CC so Aquastar 120's will be subbed for now.

Still unsure on what way i'll be running the props.

Here is some progress. Was dealing with a water leak in the cooling system. Nipples on the esc and one jacket had a leak. Took a while but I think I managed to stop the leaking. Passed the pressure test last night.

Also how many water pickups do you have? It looks like only 1, is that enough?

Those are the hong kong ones. I drilled them out to accept 3/16 drives. Tough Racing has some that's similar but longer and 3/16 ready.

This is some good motivation to get started on mine, jus got my scorpoins and custom watercooled mounts in, hardware should be in sometime this week, Maby ill post some pics... its lookin nasty already

They don't look like they came from HOTR - where did you get them.

P.S. would you have gotten the 3/16's if you could do it over?
