Sonicwake 36 hits 64mph with dasboata prop!!

First run on My new Pro Boat "Sonicwake" 36 self righting boat. The gps logger got 64mph and the gps devices got it at 63mph. This run was right out of the box except for a prop swap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEZs9EmC5P0&t=14s

I think this will be my 10yr old son's new boat. He loves green and almost all his boats, cars and drones came in green or i painted them green. So this one will definitely be on his Christmas list. Mark, looking forward to what you might do with this. . .probably set fastest run on all times with this in stock form as with your other two. . LOL

Thanks Chris! You got something coming your way I'll talk to you about later. I'm thinking it might get mid 60's to maybe 70mph once I put one of the good props on it. Got to tame her down a little though.

Brian, Thanks and your son will love this boat!

Kyoshosp2, I used a modified and reduced Octura prop that was from Chris.

            Will do 30nitro!

Thanks! I went over all bolts and screws and I added Loctite where needed and found the rudder mounting screws were a little loose. I took the strut bushing out and sanded a little on it so it would spin free and put a cable saver on the flex shaft. I did add a few drops of 3 in 1 oil on the hatch bolts and ran them in a couple of times to get the threads broken in and that's about it. Good luck with yours.

The strut doesn’t appear to be adjustable . Anyone tried yet ?

Raphael has spoke about this very thing, he suggests to remove the stuffing tube & anneal the tube so that the tube & strut can be moved easier by bending the tube a small amount to give either + or - adjustment on the strut.

Seems pretty stable with the stock one......but some adjustment would be nice.... I'm gonna try a little mod to the stock one first......

My Pro Boat Sonicwake hits 69 stock!

Here is my latest run of 69mphwith a prop from Chris Hoffmann (dasboata).. Rafael please have Horizon fix the "maps" compatibility issue for the Dynamite gps logger...They no longer display on them on the PC....

Edit: The map portion is now somewhat working again so I have attached an updated photo from the data logger to show where the boat actually hit 69mph at which was right in front of the dock on the first pass.
