Darin, you shouldn't have to use a calander to time a heat in any class.

Jeff, I've not heard a single person confused about lengths.

Darin, you're running mid 40's in N1? Nice. I should run out and buy one.

I suggest you run out and buy your son or daughter a T-Mono instead...

Darin, he already asked me if he could run it. Wants to run the 1/8 scale too. He tried to get Pete to let him run his Q sport a number of times.

Ray, that's the old style Castle 240HV. They were giving them away about a month ago so I grabbed a couple of them.

Wetter, some of us are a'holes but we are an entertaining lot aint we? We're just as stupid in person. It's what makes these races so fun I think.

Speaking of gigondous' motors. Look how much beef this one will be carrying.

Terry. Where did you get that motor mount?

That's an old Fightercat mount for a 2230. It was way too long for a 2215 so I made new mount rails for it from scratch. Did all the drilling and tapping accordingly. Major league pain the behind.

It's just laying in those slots right now until I get the stuffing tube lined up.

I think I'll make some supports to tie those rails to the gunwale. Sort of a ladder effect. Then maybe some two part foam. This will have gobs of power. It may tear the rails loose from the hull if I don't add some structure.

                        Thanks.

Makes sense about the extra support, especially given the rails end right at the back of the mount.

Well Terry adding structure is a good idea,if its from the same place as mine was.

She is good for running far over 60.

That's encouraging. I was concerned with lower strakes coming so close to the trans that it would ride too high in the water.

I've got rails, the tray, and the motor mount tied together and that ladder is tied to the transome so hopefully there is enough structure.

Terry she runs marveless , it was one of the best handling Monos in that size i had,in chop and glass water. COG is between 27-29% depends on the water.
My setup was T600/1400 with 6S2P5800mah no Trimm and Turnfin Stinger parallel to waterline as long you don´t want to run Oval you don´t need them.
Top of the line was a Prather 245 but then the Motor got quite hot , the Hull ran stable evan by choppy water.
A friend of mine had some hard impcts by blowoffs and the hull didn´t like that.So if you want long time fun stay at about 55 and avoid rhe blowoffs.
All only if it comes from the same place mine came from.
