It was 80 here yesterday in Dallas, now listening to the ice hit the windows. It's been sleeting since 2:30 this afternoon and it's currently 29.

              I agree as well. I had the same set-up in my PT (1515-1Y and (2) 4S 5000's w/M545.....was hitting 60mph.

I don't know why they even employ meteorologists in our area. From Nov to April, it's fairly predictable..... It's going to be $hi**y.

I dig this weather channel, better than my local TV weatherman!
Too many boats, not enough time...

Hey all, just caught wind of this thread and read through it. So, for p-sport hydro it would need around 65mph to be in the game and maybe 54mph for p-limited. AND of course stay stuck to the water and handle well. Anyone seeing that yet? It would be nice to have another competitive hydro to add some variety to the race. I really like the look of the boat.

No..you need to finish races to be in the game.

Looks like a nice stable hull. Quick question. Has any tried the Carbon Fiber hull Popeye as yet? Was thinking of getting one but would like some feedback on it if possible.

I just bought the white/red bare hull. I have been reading through the thread and wondering if anyone still running them? Any updates on set up?

At 65 you'll be lapped in P sport.

I am trying to decide 36 mm or 40 mm motor. I am shooting for mid 50s to 60 mph. Thinking of keeping it light? We don't race NAMBA. A friend lives on a lake with a private beach. Our course is about 2/3 NAMBA size.
