    Neu 2215 jacket coming Soon

I just bench tested the prototype 2215 water jacket. I should have these in stock, about 1-3 weeks. The design allows use with the finned motors!

It does appear that it will only allow for the use of a front plate type mount, which is not my personal preference on larger motors. I like using the ring/clamp type that mounts to side rails. And I also feel it is essential that both ends of the motor are supported.

On the other hand, it looks as well made as the other jackets OSE sells and if you are OK with the type of mount it will require, then I think it is the ticket for cooling a 2215.. I wish we could get Neu to make them with a smooth case!! The fins are a PITA.
      Don't get me started

        Bill,

I am going to try a plate style mount in front and ring/clamp type on the rear.... That is is only way I see to support both ends and have the cooling jacket...

I agree Neu should offer both styles, finned and smooth!!
