    They do pack apunch, I might have to get some for a new build. The 2860s are amazingly powerful for their size.

      Cool! Been eyeing those motors for a 2s rigger, Shipping from Astec was a bit steep to Canada though! Was checking out 380L motors yesterday as an alternative! Woo Hoo!
      If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

        wow, the 2845 2960kv motor in my Small Bolt Hydro could rock on 3s!

          I have been running a 26" mono with the Leopard 2860 3400KV on 3s packs, for the last 12 months and i think they are great motors

          this should give you an idea as to what to expect with the right packs and prop but 39mm is good

                    You can get away with a lower amp esc on the 2845-2960kv than you can on the 2860 series motors,The 2860 motors are much more powerfull & draw a lot more amps. I would also use a 120amp minimum esc on the 2860 series motor. Martin.

                      Ya depending on what you are doing with these little setups they can be awfully amp hungry. But fun! Can't wait to see what a JAE 12 will do electric. I love my nitro one, it's the inspiration for this.

                        Im also looking at changing the outrunner i have in my JAE Mini Sprint to poss a Leopard 2850 or 2860 around 4000kv on 3s or a HET 1w-30 ducted fan motor, Should be lively i hope. Martin.
