          Hello Steve,

nice offer for the new Hyperion chargers. Are you planning also to offer special power supplies for these "monsters".

Because as far as I know they reach this incredible charging power only at about 24V input voltage so you need a suitable power supply.

Maybe you have already heard of the meanwell power supplies, such as the RSP 1000 or RSP 1500??

          Best regards,
          Manuel

On Rc Groups "Feathermerchant" Sells 47 amp 12V power supplies that I can say will hold the fort very well.

Yes, I know you are saying, it's only 12V but, for $50 each, you get 2 and you can gang them up for 24V, 47Amps!!!!

He shows how on his blog. Very simple for the soldering inclined.

I just came across this thread and saw your comment on the power supply's from Feathermerchant. Here are 2 47A power supplies I purchased from him a while back and built a case from scraps I had in the garage. one side delivers 12V, 47Amps, the other 24V, 47 amps. Great PS and inexpensive.

                Sweet job on that case.

I have a 42 amp PS from him too, bulletproof!!

Might get another and do as you did. Best PS for the money!!!

Every year Hyperion makes changes to this changer. This model will be on sale soon and obsolete. Replaced by the new Super Duty Duo
