Aha, I should have read the rulebook, didn`t know about that rule ;-) sorry

Aaron, that boat seems to be 3950 Pirate red...

3987 post office red is a tad deeper red than signal red, very nice color. On the web color map it is hard to see how the color really looks like.

@Steven, ask for post office red next time. I might be able to take some red boats as well if he need a bigger qty to get this color.

I think I may want one of these 35" pirates but I need a little advice b4 I order.
I have a spare castle 1515 2200kv and 1/2 dozen 4s 5000mAh 45-90c lipo's, would this hull suite these? I have just ordered a 1717 1580kv for the truck on 6s so I'd like to make use of what Im taking out. Sorry I know I sound lame but I had my mind set on the spartan and have now decided to build my own boat. I've been reading up a lot and think Im beginning to get a bit of an idea on all this fe stuff, I really just want a boat that can run all day and go reasonably fast.

The 1515 is a bit smallish for a 35" mono Keep it in your truck. The 1717 is PERFECT for this hull.

                  my project is starting

Hi, I've put together a shopping cart with a bit of guidence from steve and b4 I hit the go button I need a little reasurance that it'll all fit and function the way it should and if I've missed anything. I am going to try and set it up with the castle 1515 2200kv on 4s2p 10000mAh with the intention of upgrading, I've tried to allow the motor mount and esc to easily accommodate the castle 1717 1580kv on 6s once the cooling jackets are available. Please me out and go through my list and let me know if I'll need anything else or if things should go together and work. Could you please recommend a few prop's to suit the 1515 set up and a few for the 1717 set up?

That looks good. The rudder is a tad large, but it can be shortened. I usually suggest the 21 mono rudder.

Im going for the dual water intake, do you have any idea of when you'll get the 1717 water coolers in stock? and could you please advise me of a few props for both the 1515 set up and the 1717 set up, if I know the model numbers I can add them to my order and send it through.

1717 jackets should be in a week or so. Start with an octura x442

                          thanks steve
the x442, would that be better suited to the 1717 or the 1515 or am I asking dumb newbie questions that don't really matter? I 'll read up a little more on prop's tonight and try to work it out.
