    As long as we are on the Speedmaster stinger topic, any ideas as to how to eliminate the vertical play in the adjuster?
    This isn't an optimal setup...
    I run these on all my mono's. Actually I run the bigger one so I could modify it for bearings. I too found the verticle adjuster to be less than ideal. I removed the 2.56 screw on the bottom of the adjuster and then tapped the hole all the way through the parts with a 4.40. Run a 4.40 screw through it with a nut on the end. Still have to crank down good on the adjuster nuts but this modification made a hugh difference.

      That's what I had in mind...to use a larger fastener with a tighter tolerance for the hole...
      I let the dogs out...
