    Genesis Stingers!

    OK, prototypes are en-route!

Still working on the 3/16" version, but worst case can drill/insert a Speedmaster bushing.

Yep. K&S #128 brass works well as a shim to use 3/16 props.

The hard part is convincing a foreign mfr that imperial fractional measurements are a "standard" worth pursuing.

        Still working on it though.

If we do end up with 4mm, I'll stock up on extra 4mm supplies to fully support 4mm shafts.

I'm hoping within the month, but have a 12/1 pre-order date setup.

                OK, the order is IN!

Just waiting on the factory now. I have two versions coming. 4mm and 3/16.

Due to the captive nature of the 4mm shaft, it is still a recommended solution for novice/intermediate boaters. 4mm captive 2 piece shafts are much more forgiving for loose couplers than losing an entire cable/dog/prop/nut setup with the 3/16 non-captive stingers.

Again, the 4mm stingers have been machined with extra material that will allow the bushings to be removed and drilled for 3/16" bushing, such as a Speedmaster.

                Officially, the clock is ticking!

That's Bahama Blue and isn't clear coated yet in the photos. Just put the final coat on a few minutes ago. That's the prototype hull.

                        =)

Sounds like it would be sweet if you could find someone with a lathe that could make some 3/16 stainless steal prop safts for those that were staggered like the 4mm ones so you wouldn't have the problem of losing the prop and everything if the coupler loosens up.

I have heard about loosing a prop shaft many times. However, in running boats for 15 years I have yet to loose one.
