Totally agree Peter. That's why we are not selling them. The Europeans, on the other hand, consider them to be a bargain. Go figure, eh? THEY don't have NEU motors over there so don't know any better. Haha. The first one that runs a NEU will be yelling HOLY CRAP!

STOP ! there ARE Europeans running Neu's !!!
Getting a pair of tenshocks from china still is cheaper for us then buying neu's from the States.

Interesting. I'm sure you must know who David Nieuwland is, from Belgium? He tells me he has never seen a NEU motor. But then he runs pure competition all over Europe. Perhaps the Europeans using NEU motors are just sport boaters?

You know what they say about Belgians ?

Almost all Belgian racers use tenshock, and lifepo's !!!!
More and more germans get interested in Neu's.
You now even find Neu's to be sold in the German board.

              I just sold 4 mounts that fit a 2230 , 2215 , 1527 , and a 1521 to a very nice fellow in Norway.......Joern Markset . I think Neu's are starting to take off over there also

David may not have seen a Neu but I know he competed against one that was tucked inside a mono1 at the UK nationals when he came over last year.

I figure it's only a matter of time that NEU will dominate in Europe. I keep telling David that he needs to become the European distributor for them.

So, from my understanding, th unloaded motor RPM is somthing like battery voltage*KV right?
                            Given this chart

For the 21 turn motor, with a KV=2600, it list max voltage of 32V!!
If im right in my previous assumption...

                            32*2600 = 83,200 RPM!!!!

                            Could the possibly be right?
They do call out special bearings as part of he build, but really?
Could his be why they are expensive?

That chart is old. The viper line is replacing these. The chart is for the little 20mm motors. I doubt they can handle 82K RPM though. Note is says max watts 500 and max volts 25amps 25. That means a max of 20 volts! Volts x amps = watts.

We will be testing one of the new Viper motors soon. If all goes well, we will sell them in the U.S.A.
