Would live too. The motors for an M40. Had a 2215 in it and my mount let loose and bent the shaft.

Definitely a good candidate for the motor fails calendar , 5mm shaft on a motor that large isn't a great idea

Btw. It?s amazing how bad Neu Repair is. I sent the motor in 6 months ago. Had to call 3 or 4 times just to get status. They said they would replace it and build me a new one for a discount. 3 months ago. Said it would take 2 weeks and would call me back. Never did. They can keep it. I?ll never buy another motor from them.

I got burnt several years ago also . Ordered a 2020 custom in a 2215 casing . The rear cap assembly was no where near what you would expect from Neu .
I managed to get it cleaned up and properly mounted but vowed not to buy from them either . And really you can get near if not the same performance for half the cost from other motor suppliers .
