    Damaged Schulze Controllers

Guys I am looking for damaged Schulze 40.160 or 40.161 controllers. I would prefer the later 40.161's in either air or water cooled versions. Let me know what you have.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Is this an old 40.160h or the newer ones? Can you send me some pics? Either way I am interested.

Tyler its the old version... yup believe it to be the copper board type and all... I think I told you about it a year ago... a guy had it on a Maxxi Joker monster 900 size electric heli that was flown once and was listed on ebay for all the stew a year ago, I sent him an offer on only the esc and he accepted.... I'm not dying to sell it but thought I would run it past you as you've helped me in the past and may need your services in the future lol... I'll get pics tomorrow for ya and post them...

LOL.. .I also have a totally smoked out Swordfish 300hv esc that only had one fateful run on it from a flexshaft that went haywire... its something you can have if you want it to mess with... got so hot one of the motor wires pulled out of the esc lol... but its only got one run literally hahaa.....

Thanks I am interested as I converted one in the past and it seems to work well. Yeah I would;t mind the SF300 either. Is the wire just pulled out or did the FETS fail too? If the wire just pulled out I can likely resolder and test it. Unless of course it is the potted version.

Tyler the swordy is the fully sealed potted version... and I think it got real, real hot... lol... and the 40-160 is at my storage, I won't have time tonight to get a pic but will tomorrow, I'll grab it and go... lol... I was telling you about the esc a year ago and ended up getting it but still haven't done anything with it... I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the pics.

OK on the potted controller, there is not much that will dissolve the potting compound so it is likely a desk ornament. No rush on the pics. Whenever you get a chance is OK.

                  Thx,

Typed in Schulze esc on eBay today, 6 came up. That never happens, it's in Germany, translates into air controllers with water cooling added. Except for the older 160

No Howard, you can't.... :) haha....

Yes you usually can, but I always send the seller a note just to make sure the listed amount is correct for US shipping... and that they're willing to ship to US, sometimes folks list on the bay without realizing they listed it worldwide... then realize after and won't ship it... so its good to ask the seller... most Germans know enough English so they can respond in a legible way... its us English folk that have no clue how to read German :)
