Wtb: Coast Guard 47 motor life boat

Yes I am still looking. Midwest made kits and proboat made a RTR I would be ok with either item. I am on active duty on the Oregon coast and really want one of these boats.

I haven't seen either of those for quite a while unfortunately. My ebay and internet searches haven't found anything. It might be worth contacting local hobby stores, you never know if a store has one tucked away in the stock room or an employee knows of a used one for sale. Thank you for your service in the USCG. You guys do great work. I'm a big USCG fan myself and am currently working on a Dumas kit of the older 44' MLB. I know its not the boat you're looking for, but that kit is still availabe new through Dumas, by the way.

If i had worked on a 44 i would build one no problem. But naturaly i work on two 47s and thats what ive been looking for. Sad part is ill probly donate it to the unit when i leave
