    Travis, I had a look thru my stuff and though I had a piece 15mm ID it is only 3" long. Totally inadequate

          Well, I did just that, granted, it was a long time ago. I was making prototype drive shafts, about 4 inch diameter. We used Preperg CF. It worked well. We sliced the heat shrink off. Peel of with some effort, but we were testing it out in the Vehicle Dyno in short order.
