    Proboat spectrum receiver WTB

    Hi,

I have a Miss Gieco 29 that I haven't used in a while. My spektrum receiver the boat came with no longer works so I'm looking to buy a receiver that will bing to my factory proboat spektrum transmitter.

The hull has some wear and tear but I'd be willing to sell or trade the hull with the hardwear.

    Thanks

Spektrum customer service is great. They have replaced rx's with no receipt with no questions. Send it in.

          Scott,

I will email you some pics shortly from [email protected]. The hull has all hardware plus I'll throw in the misc. extra pieces I have. She does does need a little tlc with cosmetics. She split on the seam of 1 side of the boat and a little transom damage from hitting something with my rudder. I did repair and reinforce the seams along both sides of the boat. But if you want her looking nice again will need a little work and paint. Me me know what you think.

          Thanks

              Kevin,

You had a very good idea and when I got on the phone with spektrum customer service I was even more excited when I found out it was hoizon hobby. I thought for sure I was in biz but the person on phone didn't help. So unfortunately I'm still looking to buy a receiver that works with my proboat spektrum transmitter.

              Anyone?

I used to think very highly of Horizon customer service because they hooked me up bigtime a while back (probably 2 years ago or so). QUICK STORY incase any of you have something under warranty from them.

So I had bought a Losi micro T from amazon. Out of the box the truck would get interference if the truck was more that 15 feet away. Apparently that was an issue with several of these trucks that were new but easily fixable. So I called horizon with the issue and I was amazed how well they handled it. The rep had me email a copy of receipt and sent me a new one that day express shipping. What impressed me the most is the rep told me to keep the original one I purchased and told me how to fix it. So I fixed it and gave the original Micro T to my brother.

So since then I spoke and thought very highly of horizon hobby until today. Since they wouldn't replace this receiver I asked if they would discount he purchase of a new one but that didn't work either.

So I'm hoping one of our good fellow members has an extra receiver they are willing to sell or trade that will bind to my transmitter.

                Thanks
