    Carbon Fiber 32" Apparition Catamaran

    Desperate!
Does anyone know where I can find a Carbon Fiber 32" Apparition Catamaran bare hull?
I thought I bought one from Kintech Racing but they emailing me to say they don't know where their last one is and they have no intention on ordering more. They refunded my money.
I'm really bummed as I'm building 3 c/f boats for next race season. I already ordered a 32" Pursuit mono, 32" Viper hydro, and this was going to be the perfect addition.
If you have another suggestion for different cat I just want it to be between 30" to 34" and must be carbon fiber. I already know about the 27" Genesis that RC Boat Bitz sells but that's slightly smaller then I want. If I can't find the 32" Apparition I may have to go with that.

    Nevermind....
I just bought a 32" River Cat c/f from Fightercat website.
Best thing is that I got this one almost $60 cheaper then the Apparition I almost bought from Kintec.

But the forum helped my because I saw user kfxguy had in his signoff "32" carbon fightercat rivercat 1521neu single! 95.6mph" I ran a web search and found Fightercat website right away.

Here it is just in case anyone else is looking. They also have 34", 37" and 41" carbon fiber cats.
    Have fun with that....

had i seen this post this morning (for some reason new posts isnt showing me all new posts) I would have offered you one one mine. I have a few spare hulls on hand at all times just incase my fast one decides to part ways with me (from a crash or sinking lol). Fyi, you cant buy straight from the website, but you can email him and hes usually pretty quick to email back and work out the details on buying or you can contact me and I can get it drop shipped for you.

        Yes, Jason was great.
The website was having a problem today completing the order, but I emailed him and you're right. He was fast in responding and great to work with.

This will be my first built from a bare hull. Since you use these... is there any advice you can offer. To fit NAMBA limited rules I'll be using an Aquacraft 2030kv motor on 4s with a swordfish 220a esc. I know the esc is over kill but I want something bigger incase I want to put in larger motor and 6s when I'm not racing within the club.

One big question is the strut and rudder I want to use. I ordered an offset rudder with dual pickup and a 3/16" strut from RC Boat Bitz. Will this be a good fit for this boat?

I use this offset strudder setup....

if you ordered a dual pickup rudder setup, cjances are its going to be to big to fit on the transom to fit. If thats the case, hit me up and i have some brand new in package ones that fit i can swap you. youll need a longer rudder than in the above link if your planning on turning. Mine isn't set up to turn, but with that that length rudder, it wouldn't turn well. I imagine if set up correctly you could get it to turn well around 50 mph. I have the 26" version and it turns pretty good. Try to find some of my threads, I have a few rivercat build threads and some stuff on the mini and some videos showing how it turns. The next rivercat I build for me or my son will be set up to turn half way decent.

i just went looked on that site. that setup you bought should work, however....the offset bracket that comes on it, bends very easily. this is the one you need...

            http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-81522

i just noticed its out of stock but kintec carries it too but the price is a little higher.

Thanks, I'll have to check your threads out.
The rudder I bought is the same 87mm just with dual water pickup. And if that one fits yours, I should be fine as the mounting plate measures 25mm tall x 27mm wide. The one you linked to is 24mm tall x 30m wide. On 4s with the 2030kv motor I don't foresee the boat hitting 50mph, but we'll see. None the less I may need to upgrade for when I use 6s.
And I will consider the other offset bracket. Thanks for the advice.

flatten the rear two ride pads starting with 220 and work up to 600. sharpen the sides. The boat will run better. Yea, you may not hit 50mph but it will be close. its a pretty efficient hull. i posted above that strudder setup should work. if you keep the boat light and run that little motor in it on 4s....i think itll be faster than you think....
