Looking for a impulse 31 v2 hull and hardware.

Just throwing this out there. If hull is damaged I can repair.

    Thanks.

Did you ever find anything? I'm trying to find the rudder & stinger assembly for a brand new Impulse 31 hull I have sitting here. Pro Boat apparently only sells it in pieces, which amounts to about $70, LMAO. $70.... that's just stupid.

No, haven't found one yet. $70 seems a bit extreme. Horizon Hobbies I suppose?

$70 is what it would cost if all the pieces were bought from the cheapest place I have found online: www.philshobbyshop.com

Probably cost around $80 from Horizon Hobby, but they don't even offer all the pieces of the drive hardware. I'm only trying to complete this hull to put it up for sale because I picked it up for a decent price, but I don't really need/want it. Good luck in your search. Hope you have better luck than me.

Would you consider selling in its current form? Can you post some pics?

If I sold it as-is now It would be $150 shipped. I think it would only save you about $25 versus what you could buy it for, direct from Horizon (~$144 shipped). It has never been taken out of the plastic bag...still in the same box it was shipped in from Horizon, & I have trim tabs & turn fins for it which usually run close to $30. It's the PRB4270 which is only the wood & fiberglass hull with the stuffing tube. It doesn't even come with the canopy or canopy seal. My guess is it's for someone who wrecks their hull & can transfer everything into a new hull. I just bought it because I figure it can sit while I pick up the rest of the parts to complete it as I find sales.

            http:// http://www.horizonhobby.com/...FTOZMgodWTMAsg

            Needed to complete:
            Canopy & Canopy seal
            Battery tray lid
            Motor mount
Flex shaft, Teflon liner, Drive dog & Prop
            Rudder push rod & bellow
            Rudder/strut assembly
            Drain plug
            All electronics...

My thinking is remove the threaded post from the battery tray, and modify it for Velcro straps. Is a drain plug really necessary? G-flex blackened w/graphite dust & move on. Rudder pushrod can be bought raw with clevises & bellow from any LHS. Stock flex shaft is only $8.00 & comes with DD, nut & nylon washers, or an upgraded flex can be bought here on OSE or Kintec for $25 that comes with that & the teflon liner, too. I think most of us already have spare water cooling line & props. That leaves the rudder/strut assembly, $5 motor mount & canopy. We have a couple holidays coming up where sales & coupon codes will be out which could split the $25 canopy & $6.00 canopy seal cost in half. The rudder/strut assembly is the only real challenge...

If you're still interested let me know. It's in my office at work right now so I won't be back there to take pic's until Monday afternoon. OR, here's a used one Darin Jordan is selling right now for $185: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ull-w-Hardware

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking it was complete (other than the items mentioned earlier). I will keep a look out for a rudder/strut for you.

Ha, yeah in this case I mean hull in the most literl way. Thanks for the lookout. I have emails pending with Pro Boat sales & I PM'd Darin in case has a hookup through his sponsors. Hopefully I can turn this one into a complete boat, minus electronics & post it up in the for sale forum, sooner than later!
