WTB Genesis 4mm to 3/16 drive conversion

I have been searching the internet for some time now trying to find a set up for a 3/16 conversion. I know several places that are selling them but they are always sold out!

RC Blitz is selling them but I am a pretty impatient guy and not to fond of waiting 3+ weeks to have it delivered.

I know with the amount of people on here Im sure we could piece a kit together.

    Thanks in advance!

    Parts needed:
•3/16" strut that replaces the stock Genesis or Apparition strut
•12" Brass Tubing with Teflon liner for .187 or .150
•3/16" Stainless Steel Prop Dog, Washer & Nylock Nut
•.187 Flex Cable and Hard Prop Shaft - 1 Piece Brazed Competition Series Cable
•5mm - .187 Three Piece Brass insert collet (be sure the brass is fully engaging the cable when installing)

Something Ive done several times. And quite simple for pennies.

Drill the existing 4mm strut w/ a 1/4" bit (new and very sharp or you will destroy the strut) use oil and take your time.
make or purchase a 3/16 strut bushing
You only have to drill as deep as the outer collar on the bushing
remove the insert and you can run w no liner.
Grease well and after every couple runs

**Or you can drill a bit from each end and install Teflon bushings

Other option is I have some 3/16 strut assemblies in stock
      Inline
      Offset
or a strut w mounts that would be used w a separate rudder
Unfortunately I do not have any strut pieces only, but I could cut a deal on the strut w mounts if you were interested

Id have to dig, but I may have some of the other things your looking for as well.

You mention tubing w Teflon for .187 or .150? They each require different size tubing if using Teflon, or, .150 w teflon can be run without teflon for .187. Which do you prefer???

        Tiqueman,

Thanks for the advise and help. I was able to get with Fightercat Racing and order everything I needed in one swoop. Searching the internet was getting to me because no one had it all the parts in stock. Contacted Fightercat and found out they had everything and sent it out the next day.
