Looking for a cat hull 28 to 34 inch approx size

    Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to buy a new hull. I currently have a MG that has been damaged beyond redoing IMO. I have the boat patched up so it is still running while I find another hull. I'd be interested in any good quality cat approximately 28 to 34 inches long. I would even consider buying another MG hull but if I was to run another pro boat at the speeds I'm running I would have to reinforce it before I used it. So please let me know if anyone has a cat hull they would want to sell.

    Thanks,

    Raul

I have a Mystic 29 that is like new. One problem, it is in Arizona and I am in New Mexico. I can get it here by the 10th and send it out. I will leave the stuffing tube and strut w/the rudder on it. I want $225 shipped. It will cost at least $55 to ship. I would like to talk to you first. I will Pm my number

Or a Sprintcat 21. Both nice hulls

                  G,

If you can sell it for that much, go for it. You won't be the fool.

Those hulls are under 200 retail and private sellers have it for less. When I bought my MG I paid 300 delivered with an upgraded prop and 2 2s speedpacks

                    Heaving,

What do you think about fighter cats? I was PM'd an offer on a beautiful 32 inch carbon fiber fightercat that's only been run a few times but looks mint to me. It's a bit more expensive than what I budgeted for but is nice. I'm just curious how it runs in the 60's to 70's stability wise since I've never seen one in person, but I am sure it's a better ride than my MG

I haven't had any firsthand experience with them, but from what I've seem they're nice and can go very fast in a str8 line. They don't turn all that well from my gatherings. My mean machine on the other hand is stable at 60 and turns full throttle no problem. It really depends on what you want out of the hull

                        Looks play a part too.
I know the Sprintcat 21 isn't the coolest looking hull, but that sucker will kill it on the water

I agree with Heaving you have seen my MM handle in fact you have driven it. However you will spend about 600 to build one.

I like how the print cat looks too but that fightercat looks awesome, specially in carbon fiber. John your MM does ride great and I like it but 600 is out of the budget for my boat ATM.

I can't tell much by the pic, but I thought the fightercat is a wide boat like MM, or sprint cat. From the understanding I have the more narrow cats are good for straights and the wider hulls are better for turning?

I don't think the fc cat is as wide as the aero marine.
Yes wider hulls tend to turn better. The Sprintcat is an animal. The Sprintcat 21 and the mean machine have the same hull bottom, but different tops. Apparently the aerodynamics therefor are a bit different, and the Sprintcat will handle a bit better.
As far as price they're both 155 and if you already have hardware and electronics you could build one for way under 600.
