What type of motor are you running?
The 6717/3 blade is a race prop not necasarily good for your build from what I have seen.

The prop will also depend on where you mount the strut with surface or sub.

The 275 or 280 are going to be your best bet.
I would have to look I might have an extra one I could finish working on for you for around $40.

Your boat is a shallow vee and pretty heavy. What motor do you have and what are your speed expectations? Since you are wondering how to water cool the head I assume it is not a commercial gas racing motor but rather a converted yard-tool powerhead (does it still have the clutch?). I have no modern experience with those motors but I believe that a non-racing prop like a stock Prather 270 or Octura x470 would be a good place to start. Too much prop and that motor will overheat, especially if you intend to enclose it under a deck and hatch. Better to leave a couple mph on the table and have a reliable setup especially since it is a sport boat. I am anxious to see the final project!

yeah it aint gonna be a race boat, its gonna have a troy bilt 31cc weed eater motor in it and it has the clutch on it also, there are some good prices on the zip kits page too, is there a certain one that anyone would recommend that they think would be good? and its actually not that heavy for how big it is, well IMO, thanks guys

Larger prop will be better for the motor as it has more torque and less rpms so will push better with a larger prop.
Check out the warehouse hobbies page they use to have a great 275 prop for around $15 just have to balance and sharpen it yourself.

I also remind searching the web as a lot of people have built boats with these motors.
Me bing one of those people a lot of info to be had with searching and reading.
