Source for carbon fiber plate for making mounts etc.

Anyone have a recommendation for a source for CF plate in various thicknesses?
    Thanks in advance

This is where I get mine. Hard as ceramic floor tile and VERY lightweight!!

dragonplate.com they do CNC cutting too. I use a tungsten carbide ceramic tile jigsaw blade to cut my designs. Can also get it from ebay. here's my latest project.

I used 4mm which is really thick. works great for mounting those heavier 4082 size motors

              Man, they look fab!
may I ask you a question? When you say they CNC cut, do you mean that they can cut to the customer's request regarding shape and size? My problem is that at this point I am not in a position to acquire nor invest in fancy tools to do the cuttings I want.

Dragonplate is amazing. They have beyond everything you can dream of in CF. I built all mounts, motor, strut, turn fin etc. in plate from them. I can take photos of all my work on my new Mr. Krabs and email if you would like. Just let me know. I just drew all my templates on paper and cut everything with a dremal tool. This was very easy. Everything is mounted in board out of the air stream.

Thanks for these photos, I like how you cut the turn fin mount.

The two forks on the turn fin mount are protruding 3 inches into the inside of the sponson. I just epoxied in. The nice thing about Cf is its strength and lack of flex.
