Let's BARTER! Looking to trade R/C Boat, or boating stuff, for a Ruger 10/22

I'm in the market for a Ruger 10/22 rifle.

I'd prefer a "Sporter" or "Target" version (18" barrel), but a "Carbine" would definitely be considered. I'm likely to be replacing the stock, depending on what I get, so overall condition of the stock itself isn't as important.

I figured I'd see if anyone has one they'd be interested in trading for some R/C Boating stuff. I have complete boats, or parts, motors, etc...

Let me know what you've got and what you might be interested in bartering/trading for.

Consider it practice for the coming collapse of modern society! :)

Funny, I just built a complete all KIDD $1,000.00 target Ruger. It can hit out to 200 yards. Not for sale though but if you want an accurate stock rifle look for a .22 Savage instead of a Ruger, unless there is a specific reason you are wanting a Ruger.

I have an old (but beautiful) Savage Model 24C "Camper's Companion" that is remarkably accurate out to 50-yards or so with the open iron sights. It's not bad at 100-yards, but hard to be consistant without a scope.

I like the 10/22 because they have been made forever, and you can get ANYTHING for them! However, I'll look at some others as well.

I'd like to see your target gun. Sounds SWEET! You have as much into that as I do in parts to build my new AR!

Here is my tack driver, first shot was dead center. Go to Rimfirecentral and you can look in the Ultimate Threads and get a really good idea what is out there. You will be amazed what you will see. Some are over the top amazing. Go to: http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...ad.php?t=69075 and look through all the pic others have posted on what they have, and have done. Once you see these you are in for a treat!

Good luck finding one. The used ones are selling for new prices because they are completely out of stock. I tried to buy one from the gun store and they couldnt get any new from any of their distributors.

This is the other one, that is a Green Mountain barrel, all else modded, only the receiver is original. Not been shot as yet. Both are free floating barrel setups which is what you want for the best accuracy. I can help you along if you still want a Ruger depending on what people on OSE have to offer. I built the trigger on this one, 1/2 lb pull. Once you find something I'll help you make it a keeper.

All you need to do is buy a receiver if you don't mind paying close to the cost of the gun, which aftermarket receivers are better made than the stock ones anyways, and everything else you can order online and build whatever you want however you want.

I want to buy the Red Jacket Bullpup for this gun. I wanted to buy the stainless steel receive/barrel.

How much for a good 10/22 receive and a nice quality barrel? All I really need to stuff into the bullpup stock.

You can get a KIDD Innovation receiver for 200.00, you wont be able to beat the quality for less or more money. Any KIDD barrel that starts from 175.00 to 275.00 will work depending on what type you like. The barres are Lothar Walther matched, best you can get. The great thing about KIDD products is that if you order the receiver and barrel from them, you can have them time it for you, ,meaning they will install the barrel into the receiver for you. They are great people to deal with.

                    R
emember that you will have to have the receiver by itself or with the barrel installed by KIDD sent to a FFL licensed person/shop. It cost me $80.00 for the transfer plus tax but you can't get better quality than KIDD products when you shoot competitions. Ruger can learn a thing or two about machining and quality from these guys.

Im not to interested in $650+ into a receiver, trigger group & barrel. The base bun in stainless w/ stainless barrel can be had for $260. It would just be a closet gun anyhow being used very very little...

Not a 10/22 but will shoot right there with it all day long a Marlin 60 with TIGER MAPLE stock. I take this to the range, guys with 10/22s shoot it and r in awe as to its accuracy. The stock is a rare one indeed. I found the beautiful wood under a bunch of marlin stain from the factory. striped it, hand rubbed 4 coats of a 3 part mixture passed down in my family for years, and this is how it turned out. I love this rifle.

Lately the gun treads have been far more interesting than boat treads. Maybe Steve will start selling gun parts. OSE Boating and Shooting Supplies

May not be exactly what your asking for but I have a m&p 15-22 performance center 22 that is dead on at 100 yard depending on ammo. Comes with a hbar and a two stage trigger in a ar style platform. Great for either tactical or longer range stuff.
I've also recently gotten I. To shooting 17hmr's. savage. One of the most accurate and fun guns I e ever owned. Only downside is that it's not cheap to shoot compared to the 22's Jmo.
