I'll feel left out if I don't comment on this thread.. Lol
The Shockwave brushless v1 was a dud. Esc always crapped out and 2 pole motor was terrible . The v2 was better but the v3 has some potential.
What you Should do is Convince her to get a catamaran..
Now back to the point, someone get this man a shockwave!Go Fast...Turn Right...Comment

I used to have two shockwaves that I gave to friends. One was a brushless, the other was brushed. The brushless was faster, but the motor kept freezing up in the middle of the lake, so I liked the brushed one a whole lot better. It was hard giving them away, but I am more of an outboard tunnel guy myself, and my top speed 2 is much faster and more fun to drive than either two versions of the shockwave. Anyhow, I would recommend the brushed one just for the sake of reliability.Comment
