I have two indentical Gen II wood whips and might consider selling the second one. Both are first class builds and the one I am keeping is the 2 time national champ and 2-lap record holder. The second one also holds the G1 2-lap record. It been through some hard crashes and at one point the entire right sponson ripped off. At that point we completely re built the boat and massively doubled up the framing to strengthen the sponsons. It was re-skinned and clear coated. Today you could not tell the difference. It would include a nice stand and spare carbon cowl. I am not willing to sell this boat cheap though and it might be too expensive for a conversion, but I thought I would throw it out there.

Oh yeah and if anyone wants to poke a little fun at Wally I have a Birthday video of us at a Texas Roadhouse where the staff was singing him Happy B-day. Throughly embarassed!

I think the spare cowl has no holes, but it would be a pain to tape around the carb cover. Let me check tomorrow and take some more detail pics.

There are a few people that can design and make you a cool looking FE cowl that can be taped easily with just a few mods to the hull. I know raptor347 could design and make a nice cowl if he wanted to. Here is one guy that has a couple of FE designs for the Whiplash 20 and 40. Maybe you could use the standard Blazermarine Whiplash 20 cowl.
