    WTB: Traxxas Villain deck lid

I'm on the hunt for a deck lid for my Traxxas Villain. Please let me know what you have as I'd really like to get my boat in the water. Thanks.

The lids are still sold at some RC sites................find out the model number and google it for the store that carries it. I did it a while back and found a couple places.

Yeah I had tried that but no luck. The model number is TRA1513r. Called/emailed a few places, same thing. I was hoping done place would have new old stock of then but nothing yet.

Well then your next step is to get on ebay and find an old Villain IV thats in bad shape or doesnt have electronics and it should go for around 40 bucks max...............I have bought several that way.

I've been looking there too but nothing has showed up that was that cheap. Might just have to wait till winter and hope someone unloads one.

I'm looking for an ex lid but I'm pretty sure I can use the villain IV lid though.

A IV lid will fit, it just doesnt have the holes for the twisting lockdowns on the deck, it can be modded to fit.

I'm willing to do that to get the boat running. Measure twice cut once

                          Sorry it took so long.
If u want it lmk. Ill pm u mu paypal.
It was modified for a waterline in the back but it shouldn't cause a problem with leaking because the seal is above the notch on a stock villain.
